Little Mosque ((in Uzbek: Minor masjidi) Little Mosque) - a mosque in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent. The mosque is located on the banks of the Angkor Canal. It is the latest Islamic building built according to the Persian architectural character mixed with Islam.

The construction of the mosque began in the summer of 2013 on the basis of a decree issued by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov “regarding the procedures for building a mosque in the“ little district of Tashkent ”.

The mosque was inaugurated on October 1, 2014, on the eve of Eid al-Adha, and was inaugurated by the President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov.

The mosque is designed to accommodate more than 2,400 people.
