It is a Jameh Mosque, located in the city of Homs in Syria, and it is located in the Khaldiya area in the northeastern part of the city of Homs, located on the Orontes River.

The construction of the Khalid bin Al-Walid Mosque dates back to the seventh century AH (century: 13 AD) and the current building dates back to the Ottoman era in the nineteenth century AD during the days of Sultan Abdul Hamid II

The Jameh Mosque was built on the ruins of the old mosque that was standing in the same place in the city of Homs and was built according to the Mamluk style during the days of Sultan Zahir Baybars in the seventh century AH

 The current mosque is characterized by a building in the Ottoman style characterized by alternating white and black colors in its stones mixed with a beautiful Syrian style.
