The area of the mosque is 5 thousand square meters, it can accommodate 10 thousand worshipers at one time, and the height of the minarets is 62 meters.
The religious complex includes the Religious Administration for Muslims of the Chechen Republic, the Islamic Higher Institute, a religious library, and an internal university section for students of Islamic studies. Among the advantages of the mosque is that it is resistant to earthquakes, as it has courtyards for the mosque, beautiful openings and places to rest.
Its inner and outer walls are covered with rare "travertine" alabaster.
The interior of the mosque was decorated with white marble, which is extracted from the island of "Marmara Adesi" located in the Sea of Marmara, and was decorated by Turkish artists. And in the decoration of chemical and natural dyes to help preserve colors for the next 50 years. Artists used gold paint to write Qur’an verses and draw decorations. The designers installed 36 chandeliers in the mosque, which were divided into three groups, representing the three Islamic holy sites: 27 chandeliers representing the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, 8 chandeliers representing the chandeliers of the Prophet’s Rawda in Medina, and one chandeliers representing the Holy Kaaba in Makkah Al-Mukarramah. It should be noted that all the chandeliers are crystal of the famous "Safarovsky" company.
The construction process of the mosque began in the late eighties of the last century, then the construction process was frozen, resumed in 1997, and stopped again in 1999, due to the war and the instability that prevailed in the Chechen Republic at the time. In 2006, construction resumed, and the mosque was finally opened, in October 2008
